Why Menma?
About 60% of Japan's bamboo forests are neglected. Abandoned bamboo destroys surrounding ecosystems and increases landslide risks.
NioMenma, born in Anan City, Tokushima, created a new cycle: solving the problem by eating the bamboo.
Eating = bamboo forest maintenance. One bowl of menma protects the local mountains.
